Event first aid officer (M/F) (on a call basis)

Job description:

As a first aid officer with broeder de Vries you are responsible for first aid during all sorts of events. These may be sports or racing events, but also business parties, dances, or trade fairs. All sorts of assignments are required. You will work all sorts of hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Your hours are agreed in consultation.

Minimum requirements:

  • Secondary vocational education level
  • First aid diploma with AED endorsements and/or nursing training (almost) completed
  • Demonstrable experience of events is preferred.
  • Driving licence B with your own transport preferred
  • Good command of the Dutch language
  • Representative, service-oriented, and able to relate to people
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Nurse

Job description

The nurse can be deployed both as an ambulance nurse and a repatriation nurse. During repatriation, the nurse is responsible for looking after the patient and any relatives. The nurse examines the patient in situ and decides whether or not he or she can be transported. During the journey, the nurse is also responsible for the patient's welfare and looking after any relatives.

Minimum requirements :

  • BIG-registered nurse grade A and/or B supplemented by a specialisation.
  • Holding driving licence B and at least five years of driving experience
  • Resident near Schiphol airport
  • Available at least 6 days a month

Ambulance driver

Job description

The ambulance driver helps the nurse to look after the patient's relatives and assists as much as possible with the nurse's work. Apart from taking care of the repatriation and assisting the nurse, the driver is responsible for the technical state of the ambulance and its apparatus and materials.

Minimum requirements :

  • Holding driving licence B and at least five years of driving experience
  • First aid and reanimation diplomas
  • Resident near Schiphol airport
  • Available at least 6 days a month
